Papier-Mâché is recorded on a guitar with papier-mâché sides and back made by luthier Fabio Zontini, who was inspired by the legendary guitar that Torres (the Stradivarius of the six strings), built in 1862 in a single copy.
The sound engineer for this project is Marco Lincetto, a reference point in the world of high fidelity.

This guitar anthology, realised under the artistic direction of Stefano Grondona and produced by the Conservatorio di Vicenza, contains Federica Artuso's performance of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Passacaglia op. 180 on a guitar made by Juan Galan in 1929.
